arfmagazine.com Poll: Which is the best version of A Christmas Carol ever? by: johnnyarabland
Select one: Description:
Scrooge (Alastair Sim) (1951)

I've never actually seen this version - the 1951 "original".

A Christmas Carol (George C Scott) (1984)

Scott's scrooge is often cited as the best ever.

Scrooge (Albert Finney) (1970)

The definitive musical version for money.

Blackadder's Christmas Carol (Rowan Atkinson) (1988)

If we were little pigs we'd sing, piggy wiggy wiggy wiggy woo!

Scrooged (Bill Murray) (1988)

The height of the 1980s cold-hearted yuppie culture and Bobcat Goldthwait!

The Muppet Christmas Carol (Michael Caine) (1992)

I've yet to see this version, but my wee brother assures me it is the best (yeah, right Chris)

Mickey's Christmas Carol (Scrooge McDuck) (1983)

A heavily condensed version, but one that does feature some of Disney's best loved characters like Jiminy Crickett, Mole and Rat from the Wind in the Willows and that dirty dog Pete with the gruff voice.

A Christmas Carol - The Musical (Kelsey Grammar) (2004)

I'd have rather seen Sideshow Bob in the role.
